why not?
it's probably fun and interesting, and might have the added benefit of being on north korea's big brother's radar, if one is stupid enough to connect to the internet with it (or run it on bare metal).

however, one should search before posting.
this search: https://www.startpage.com/do/dsearch...nd+redstar+1.0 (thread title) quickly brought me to this: https://www.reddit.com/r/linux/comme...found/dp2mskm/

Well i guess you are very bored
Took me 3 seconds in DuckDuckGo
http://www.openingupnorthkorea.com/Red%20Star%20OS%203.0%20Desktop/redstar_desktop3.0_sign.iso version 3.0
http://www.openingupnorthkorea.com/DPRK%20Red%20Star.iso version 2.0

Edit: I'm sorry, you were asking for 1.0 version. I hope those links can help you

I'm downloading the 2.0 version because is very lighter than 3.0, but the server is so slow. So i'll make a torrent. Hope somebody can seed it.
