Where are all the Live CDs?

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find live cd versions of linux(listed below). It seems the best thing I can do as a newbie is try the live versions to see if I have any compatability issues with my comp, see my thread in laptops and handhelds forum. But, when I visit the websites below it's like pulling teeth to try and find a live version or even something that says "Click here for the live version that doesn't install on your pc".

Versions that I am interested in trying are as follows:
kubuntu
ubuntu
linspire
pclinux os
suse
knoppix
mepis

Thanks,
Hammy

distrowatch.com has a search feature that allows you to find live CD and live DVD distributions. Here is a search result from that site for live CD distros.

Looked on Goggle and didn't have any trouble finding them. Didn't look for Suse. I've never heard that they have a LiveCD, but maybe they do.

Kubuntu

Ubuntu
http://ubuntu-releases.cs.umn.edu//6...sktop-i386.iso

Freespire (free version of Lindspire)
http://tracker.linspire.com/torrents...13.iso.torrent

Lindspire:
http://media.linspire.com/cnr_linspirelive/index.html

PCLinuxOS has 3 Versions Minime, BigDaddy, and junior Bigdaddy is the full version, this would be the one you want:
http://ftp.sh.cvut.cz/MIRRORS/pclinu...a-bigdaddy.iso

SUSE:
Doesn't have a current Live CD: you might want to try 9.3 Live DVD:

http://iso.linuxquestions.org/downlo...DVD-i386-1.iso

Knoppix:
http://www.knopper.net/knoppix-mirro...s.edu/knoppix/

Mepis:
http://www.mepis.org/node/1462

if any of these D/L mirrors don't work, google the distro and try another

hope this Helps,

Jake

Thanks guys. You're right it isn't that hard to find them. I think I was a bit overloaded from reading about linux and being frustrated as to which distro to try first that I wasn't thinking straight. Hopefully now I can move onto greener pastures.

Thanks,
Hammy
