What linux distro is best for YouTubers?

I am a small time gmaing youtuber (my channel is under the same name as my user name here) and I would like to move away from windows! Windows has become unstable to use and can not seem to get it activated, I am using linux mint right now but can not seem to get even steam to run. Any slutions?

Open a Terminal and then copy & paste this command:

LD_PRELOAD='/usr/$LIB/libstdc++.so.6' DISPLAY=:0 steam

Press the Enter key and Steam should start.
