What Linux Distro Has The Best AMD APU Video Support?

Set up. I have a computer with a monitor hooked up to DVI. I have my second "monitor" from VGA to my HD-TV.

No Linux Distro (probable tried 10) works on the right monitor. In Mint 18, I have to unhook the VGA, boot up, then hook the cable back in. Then I can watch a video on the TV. Each time I have to unhook/hook the monitor.

I wanted to switch to Salix, but monitor problems. I tried LXLE, which I liked. Problem was (had to boot with TV unhooked), when I plugged in the TV, enable the second monitor (no choice to check computer monitor as default or main), it showed up to big on the computer monitor. The things on the sides of the panel where off the screen on the computer monitor.

I have the dreaded AMD APU. Getting tiered of Windows the only distro that has the right monitor support. What Linux Distro has the best AMD APU video support that I can try?

Thank you,
Chris.

Chris.

I've a laptop with AMD A8-6410 @2GHz, via the vga port I have a monitor connected. In my laptop I've a dedicated switch which helps me setting up the second screen, or at least in Windows it did. It works same in Solus OS and in Cub Linux I can go to the screen resolution setting and set up the second screen with options for resolution and refresh rate. And for the main screen you can set up the location as right/left etc. , i.e. with respect to the second screen. Hope that helps.
