What is this distro ?
Hi All,
Any idea what this distro is ? I know its hard to tell by the blurred photo, but its used on the set of the show "killing eve." The bottom left logo is something like a baseball diamond ?
So please and thank you if you know what this distro is ?

That looks like the CentOS logo, but it's difficult to be sure.

Yes, it can be a desktop. You have to add a few third party repos to get it to do multimedia but it works if you have no problems with that. I think the default UI is (ugghhh) Gnome.
Obviously that picture is not Gnome - no clue what that is. Hollywood for sure

You can move the taskbar from the bottom to the top or sides. When I use Windows, I normally put the taskbar at the top.
I tried copying the picture into the GIMP and enlarging it, but it was too blurry to find any clues.

I would think it possible someone on the technical side of the production could tweak any distribution to have the desired look.

Nothing to say from those blurry scrots.
Could be anything. FWIW, the window decorations look like Windows with all fancy UI stuff turned off ("classic" look).
I think they don't always use proper operating systems in the movies, just a UI design cobbled together in Photoshop, maybe with an animated progress bar overlay, whatever the plot demands.

It's in the right position to be the CentOS menu button.

No, it doesn't look like CentOS logo to me. As closest to it comes the form known as rustre in heraldry. Distrowatch.com regularly seeds torrents of fresh distribution releases. You can see logos of active distributions on their torrents page¹. The list goes back for at least one year. I don't see anything even remotely similar there. That would mean it's either a distro with no new releases in the last year or that icon is not a distro logo. Or it's not a Linux distro at all.
____
¹ They also list *BSD, OpenIndiana and ReactOS releases there.
