What is the size of the original size of Linux operating system?
Hi,
I am new to this, I just have a few stupid questions.
How many commands?
In what language he wrote?
Took him how long to finish?
Thanks.

Command Reference
C, C++, some assembler.
You have to ask "him", and it is not finished yet.
Besides, GNU/Linux is kernel and lots of utilities around it. Are you asking about kernel? Or the whole OS?

Who wrote what? If you are asking about the Linux kernel, C and very little assembler. If you ask about GNU, C. If you ask about OpenStack, Python. None of that was written by a single person.

Development on the Linux kernel started in 1991. Version 1 was issued in 1994, so three years. Version 4 this year, I think, so 24 years. GNU started in 1984 I think, so 31 years. OpenStack - 5 years. Pick what you like best.

The oldest known GNU/Linux operating system distribution, MCC Interm Linux, was big enough to fit on the old style floppy disks, so changes are it wasn't very big.
As far as the actual Linux kernel, I'm not sure.
