I personally have no experience with those two pieces of hardware however i am sure that they can be found in the HCL. You can look both of them up and find out what experience other users have had with them.

The video card is easy, there are open-source (crappy) drivers for it and nvidia has released closed-source (great) drivers for it, just download them from

The modem, I wouldn't know, I'm assuming it's a USB modem but does it have the option to connect via ethernet? If so it shouldn't be a problem to setup under any distro, a USB one may cause problems though.

If you want to know for sure if the video card will work, Yes it will, I have the same exact one, but as DJ said above, Use the Nvidia Drivers.

Sagem 800 on Xandros 3.02

I had quite good results with MODEM Sagem 800 USB in distribution called Xandros 3.02 free version. All what you have to do is to install eagle-usb 2.3.2 or 2.3.3 driver from eagle-usb and give it a CHANCE...

Driver page Eagle-usb-2.3.2
