oh. i was thinking you being in iowa and obviously bored so maybe you could go out into a cow field, or whatever they're called, and push over a cow. you know - for entertainment & what not ; )

If you run KDE, gnome, etc they all look pretty much the same.

the command line is certainly the best interface if u're not doing graphics. The most control of the system and the way it act.

i know of some people who are interested to use Linux but afraid of learning the command line. what de ****. command line will make a person understand the OS more, and it improves typing skills, get works done faster..... the list goes on.

there's no point to compare the distros. the argument won't end even in 100 years of time.

just my few cents of view.....
