DISTRO

you are using.

better yet put this info in your profile then you don't have to add this to every question you ask unless it pertains to a distro other than the one in your profile.

Proud Mandrake 9.0 user here! It's still my favorite, after trying out probably about a dozen other distros. I think that just because a distro is easy, it doesn't make it bad. It makes it better!

riddlebox80 02-19-2003 08:10 PM

I have mandrake 9.0 on my laptop and I love it! everything I want and need to use works fine! k3b, gtk-gnutella, ogle

MasterC 02-19-2003 08:23 PM

I run RedHat 8.3 ;)

guitargeek 02-19-2003 08:36 PM

HAHAHAHA!! I get it now, sorry about that.

I'm a little slow on the uptake.

microsoft windows 3.1

Suse 8.1 FTP install. It only took a bit over an hour to install. And it works great so far.

I really like Mandrake's system utilities. etc. but it seems to break after using it for a couple of weeks. Things just stop working, file associations are forgotten, etc. Maybe 9.1 will be better.

dunkyb 02-20-2003 03:09 AM

Debian, all the way.

Try it, and you wont go back .. I didn't.

this posting was more appropriate in the general forum instead of the distro forum.

the reason for the post was to request persons to give the name of their distro when asking questions.

maybe i wasn't clear on that - sorry.
