what boot rom to use
 

hello its me noob
im working on a supercomputer project using rocks cluster as my base os and im doing my nodes with varios NIC mostly 3com and they all have the option rom on them but they dont pxe boot out of the box. so i was wondering if anyone might have insight as to what i should get for the ROM distrobution? i was thinking coreboot so i could streamline the bios and manage diferent hardware universally as upgrades progress. also where can i buy loaded roms? if i cant i guess ill have to make them from scratch so anyway thanx all in advance
