I have only really used Slack, and I wanted to know what actual differences I would see if I were to play around with another distro.
From my observations, there seems to be three camps of Linux/Unix:
Debian-related
Fedora-related
Evertyhing else (Slack falls into this one if I'm not mistaken)
So other than some other distros having Gnome, what other functionality variates between distros?
Also is there a distro that has Beryl installed default? That has been the biggest headache for me to try and figure out for Slack
Going on a little tangent, I have been trying to install Beryl, and I cannot for the life of me get onto beryl-project.org 's forum to ask any questions. Is there anywhere else I can go to get some help?
