What's the SCO story?

I've heard a lot of bad things about SCO, but nothing specific. Can someone catch me up or point me to the dirt about SCO? Here's what I know:

SCO bought Caldera.

SCO is somehow in league with MS?

SCO like, created a virus on purpose or something and then fixed it? I'm very hazy there.

What's the skinny on SCO? thanks,

rw

Oh I see- SCO isn't linux, it's just unix. The fact that it bought Caldera, which was a linux distro, is incidental. OK. Fair enough. Moderators, go ahead and delete this or move it- sorry. I'll repost in a more general forum I spose.
