Weird traceroute issue

I have a weird problem with traceroute on CentOS 5.3. Anytime I traceroute to something it will traceroute as normal up until the last hop and then just start spitting out asterisks like its getting packet loss and the last hop will never show up. It doesn't matter if I'm tracerouting to something 1 hop or 20 hops away. Anyone seen this before?
