want to command to run from terminal equivalent to about:buildconfig

Pls tell a command to determine the GCC compiler used to compile firefox.I know about:buildconfig but that needs to be entered in address bar of mozilla browser.I want to deploy my application which runs java applet. An appropriate plugin is required to run applets in mozilla firefox.Java Plugins are dependent on GCC compiler version and I want to install correct plugin automatically by determinig the GCC compiler version, so that my application can run on different versions of firefox
