upgrade from ubuntu 6.06 to 6.10 Server Edition

I want to upgrade my Ubuntu 6.06 pc to an Ubuntu 6.10 Server Edition one.
I got the .iso file on a cd, but when I boot from cd I don't see any options to upgrade. (Only install by dual boot)

Does somebody know if it is possible to upgrade from Dapper to Edgy SE?

It should be easy. Boot to Dapper, open Synaptic or Adept. Click Edit -- Add CD-ROM. Then do the classic
apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade. YMMV. I usually do these as new installs, but 6.06 to 6.10 shouldn't prove too difficult. Make sure you have good backups and you will probably be fine.

Yep, those are the intructions. In the upcoming version uf Ubuntu (Feisty) you can do dist-upgrades from any Feisty CD, but at the moment, it's unstable.
