trying to use khotkeys outside KDE
Hi, all...
I love khotkeys (I use it for the mouse gestures), but I am trying to switch from KDE to a lightweight such as fluxbox or xfce. I can make khotkeys start when I login to fluxbox, xfce, or any window manager/desktop, but if I logout and log back in again I get "KLauncher could not be reached via DCOP" whever I use a gesture or when I try to launch konqueror from the terminal. If I login to KDE, logout, then login to my window manager again, it works again, but that's a hastle! I've tried manually starting klouncher, but it didnt work...Any ideas? Thanks! |
I am looking for the same thing. i.e :: Run khotkeys without kde.
simply using teh command 'khotkeys' doesn't works. This is how it starts in kubuntu: ksmserver starts /usr/share/autostart/khotkeys.desktop. Now anyone ha sany suggestions for running this from gnome? |
