SuSE Problems

Hi everyone, i have just set up a SuSE 9.0 Box to share the Internet, Mail (Fetchmail to retrieve from POP3), and Files. Also to backup the company files (using a Travan 40GB tape drive)

Ive got Samba set up to share files and its working perfectly, the same with Fetchmail. But im having a bit of a problem with web sharing, i simply cant get it to work! I have tried using Shorewall, and using SuSE's own interface, but with no avail. I have the local network connected to eth1 with an IP of 192.168.16.1 and a Netmask of 255.255.255.0, and the Broadband router(1 port) is connected to eth0 with an IP of 10.0.0.4 (its assigned by DHCP so it will change, but not often, lease time is set to 365 days) Does anyone know a way of gtting the web sharing to work?

Also, i cant seem to get the Travan drive working, altho i have not spent that much time trying to get it to work (im on site today so i have all day to try) does anyone have a quick solution to get this working?

Cheers guys, ill be checking back from site and ill kep you posted!

I don't quite understand your config.

I do the same with the next config

router<<<<>>>>switch<<>>COMP1
switch<<>>comp2
switch<<>>comp3 etc

I keep it simple, but there is also a wirles connection from the switch to a part of the network in another building. The router has a firewall so
why 2 networkcards in one computer ? It is possible that way I now but
mostly that computer is then acting as a router and has a firewall ets. But in that case you don't need the router I think.

The router acts as DHCP
