suse portage question

Is there any program that works well as emerge sync portage system on suse? I really loved the:
emerge sync
emerge -up world
emerge -u world
commands, they would take care of all the dependencies that were required for the system to install.

YOU (Yast Online Update) is the package updater for suse. Yum is redhat's.
YOU updates a system based on the closest mirror. yast2, the suse system tool, can do these tasks you said, from emerge. You can launch yast2 from cli or gui, as you wish.
Also, the people from apt4rpm have this resource, a apt-get system for suse, which can do great things.
