This reviewer lost all credibilty with me when he complimented SuSE on their great Gnome implementation.

Anyone who uses SuSE knows that they don't really support Gnome and some will go as far as to say they cripple it.

I, for one, am grateful to usr-local-bin for providing fixes and updates to SuSE's Gnome and GTK2 based packages in 8.2

I use KDE as a DE (or openbox as a wm), but use mostly GTK2 apps - Abiword 2.0, Bluefish, Galeon, Epiphany, Gnumeric, Gaim, Evolution, Gimp, Pan, etc.

Plus, no point in updating without 2.6.x kernel (IMHO)

I use SuSE 8,2 and love it. GNome sux anyways, LOL

By the way, SuSE 9 looks niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!
