suse 9: recommended books, websites?

Hello,

Just installed suse 9. New to Linux. Would appreciate recommendations on useful books, websites, etc.

To change from KDE to GNOME, you log out and log in again. You should find that there is a selector on the login menu which says "kde". Click on it and choose "gnome", then press Enter. It should boot up into GNOME.

I recommend getting ULB's version of GNOME - see http://www.usr-local-bin.org/

The best overview of Linux is "Running Linux, fourth edition" published by O'Reilly. You can probably find it at a public library.

hello ,there is no selecter that i can find to go from kde to gnome on my kde desktop -suse 9.1?
