SuSE 9.1 supported hardware?

I was curious if anyone has heard anything about what new hardware will be supported in SuSE 9.1.

I searched a while on google with no luck finding any scrap of information as to what will be newly supported, and am more curious if it fully supports ATi Radeon 9800 pro striaght out of the box.. as it feels like the other drivers are not quite on par.

thanks

How about SuSE.com?

if you check under the distrobution there.. it doesn't show 9.1, which won't be released until May, so I'm still not sosure whats going to happen or if and when the information will be released

Well, I don't think SuSE are allowed to include the ATi drivers so they can work out of the box. You must download them manually.

Anyway, thats no problem at all.

READ THE README!

Use "fglrxconfig" after installing the drivers, and edit XF86Config-4.

I have tried the older drivers they released several times with no luck .. I'm hoping this release will work but I'm not crossing my fingers.. right now had to switch to using my geforce 3 because of problems ever even getting close to getting them to work.. once I thought I was doing something wrong and had several friends try, each with a fresh install.. so I'm hoping things will be sorted out like they said in the readme file
