SuSE 9.1: Mozilla and my printer

I'm using SuSE 9.1 with XFCE4 as a window manager and Mozilla as browser. My printer is an Epson Stylus CX5400 which is working well with Open Office and with XFCE4 itself, but I can't print from Mozilla.

The printer has been set up with Yast as /dev/usb/lp0. Mozilla gives kprinter --stdin as the print command, but kprinter isn't installed on my system; I'd like to know whether there is a command which adresses the printer, and which it is - neither the Yast setup nor the XFCE and Open office setups are clear about the actual command used.

you could try lpr. i believe you may be able to get a look at the command through the open office printer admin tool.
good luck.

Thanks, that did it! I have tried numerous approaches with lpr, but exactly what parameter to use, and how, somehow never got clear to me from the examples. The printer admin tool gave me lpr -P "printer", and that's exactly what I needed to enter in the command box.
