I know. At other forum I had so many posts for this question, telling me how dangerous is to use linux under root, but they would not answer my question. If i have a constant internet connection, I won't use linux under root, but now i have dial-up and there is noone at home to hack my system. It's now becoming even more irritating to type your password at every login when that such option is available.

You can auto login as a regular user, or use passwordless login if you so wish.

To do this you need to go to "Convenience" under Login Manager in the KDE Control Center.
