Hi all! I definitely managed to mess my YaST on my SuSE 8.0 Box up! whenever I try to install new software, it complains that the version of my installation media should not be older than the installed version, which I can understand. But it reports my installed version to be
IBMJava2-JRE
Which is definitely WRONG (obviously) Does anyone know where I can change this? Where das SuSE store this information?
hm, my problem is probably related to this - I've been unable to install things properly with YaST2 for a few days now, I'm on SuSE 7.3 and it keeps reporting that my YaST disk (which is 7.3, the same package I used to load my system) is the wrong version...then when I tell it to go ahead anyway it gets loads of errors and things don't get installed. Ideas?
