SuSE 8.2 ISOs...?

I was searching on several mirror sites downloading older versions of linux for some boxes in a computer lab (RH 7.3 to be exact) and stumbled across one that had the SuSE distro on it. Intrigued by what many of the threads in the networking section have said about SuSE, i wanted to give it a try. However that FTP site (and every site thereafter) only had SuSE to load from an FTP install. I was wondering if anyone had links to a mirror site with SuSE 8.2 in ISO format...?

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,

Well, no. No one is going to have a link to Suse 8.2 iso because they don't exist. Suse CD's/DVD of 8.2 are only available to paying customers.

You can download a Live Eval cd from the suse site from any of their mirrors. You can also download an install image and install by network of ftp for free.

Also, if you buy the 29.99 home edition you can specify an ftp server as a software source and then upgrade to pro at no charge.

Yeah, what he said. I posted about the same thing, but he put it better, so just disregard this :D

Yea...

The only SuSE isos that you can get for free are the SuSE Live Evaluation versions.

Is SUSE not free at all then?
I bought a copy of SUSE Personal 8.2, am I free to install in on as many machines as I want or not?

How do I go about upgrading it to Pro for free as mentioned above? What's the FTP site? Is there some upgrade utility you have to run?

you can install on as many machines as you want.you can update to any state that you want. get aptforSUSE here http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm/ or follow the ftp install instructions on the suse web site.
