I must admit, I'm too much of an El Cheapio college student to even consider buying an OS. (hint hint: poor college student. Let Uncle Sam Send Money ).

However, I DID manage to buy SuSE 7.3 when it was out and it captivated me. Now I run SuSE 8.0 (One very generous fellow here at LQ allowed me to download ISOs of it). I haven't had a single problem with SuSE 8.0. NONE! nada! Zip! Cipher! LOL.

My freind runs Redhat and he loves it. I guess its a matter of taste really. I could never come to run the POS they call RedHat. It stinks.

SuSE or BUST!
