SuSE 7.0 Deferred Directory (Email)

Everytime someone sends a group e-mail, SuSE keeps resending it over and over. I found that the directory /var/spool/postfix/deferred is where these groups e-mails wind up and resend.

I've tried to set up a function in crontab that rm * that directory every twenty minutes but it doesn't work. So I've been doing it manually.

My question, is what is this directory for? I've thought about just deleting it, but I don't have the guts to.

Johnny
