Unhappy Stopping the RH8 RHN Alert NotificationTool

Hi guys,

I'm running Red Hat 8 with Gnome 2 and I was wondering how to stop the RHN Alert Notification Tool from starting up everytime I go into Gnome (since I am not connected to the internet for that long, and with a slow connection).

I would prefer to only run it at will (rhn-applet-gui I think it is).

Thanks for any help!

Right-click the button, and choose Configuration. The first window is a
Welcome screen. Hit Forward. Next is a Terms of Service screen. It says...
Quote:
If you do not wish to have this application appear on your panel, click the 'Remove From Panel' button below. Once removed, you can return it to your panel at any time by choosing 'Red Hat Network Alert Notification Tool' from 'Add to Panel | Applet | Monitors' in the Panel menu.

Yes I tried that, multiple times. But sure enough, next time I booted into X, it returned :/
