SSH access doesnt work on ipcop


I have installed ipcop with enabled SSH access on adress 192.42.0.1,but when i try to connect with putty i getting error "no network connection"like there is no that service.Ping work's fine,i was even enable support for older clients.Could be maybe ipcop have different port for ssh?

yes you guessed it use port 222

Thanks,now is working.One more question=can i install things like apache server and smtp server over ssh?

do you want to install apache and smtp on a remote machine using SSH ?

Yes i want install apache,msql,php and smtp server on ip cop machine.

That really isn't what ipcop is intended for. If you want a secure distro to build off of check out trustix.

edit: afaik ipcop already has apache and some kind of smtp solution. It has a web interface and I believe a few of the add-ons send email notifications.
