I'm finally able to convince the support staff and just now installed the RHL9 in dual boot mode on office desktop

But the sound card is a big problem as of now. The RHL9 detects a VIA8233 AC97 Audio but the test sound does not play (Sound Server is enabled). It has been long ago when I used to play with sound drivers in Linux but am not able to devote much time on it and hence need a quick fix to this. The windows works with SoundMax - Analog Devices perfectly fine. I don't have luxury to open the chasis to see which is the chip to verify the RHL9 claims.

What are the options for me? How can I get my MP3 collection to play... It is very boring in/around office without it.

Anybody has any ideas on it???
