Simple distro for a server (a simple guy)

Hi,

I have a 7 year old PC that I want to run as a server with the following apps

apache
mysql
ftp

...and thats about it. I did have mandrake running on it but doesn't seem to boot up any more with "Kernel panic: No init found" problem. So I thought that I put a new disto on it.

The server once set-up won't have a monitor.

I am reasonably familiar with Linux but don't want a to have to do too much work getting up and running.

I'm in the process of downloading Fedora but I can't believe that I need all 4 iso's for my simple set up.

Thanks in advance

Dan

I'm running Slackware on a OLD Compaq Deskpro 4000/233 w/128mb ram and a 3.1 gb hdd, running a mail/web/mySQL server. The trick was to not install KDE bits...lol
It's been up for 4 months now, headless. 99% was install and forget. Configuration was a breeze

dsl probably be the the right thing .. it runs fluxbox by default and it's really small and is quiet friendly.
