scientific-linux

Hi I found scientific-linux today and was wondering if anyone els can tell me more about it?
I like the livecd so fare using mini_livecd_SL52_2008-08-14.iso thats only 250mb and thats not bad for a build your own Redhat.
I have one puzzle in regards to rpms in that not all rpms are supported yet so I will need to reconfigure ones for Redhat to install on scientific-linux.
Any ideas?

I've used CentOS, which I think is basically the same as Scientific Linux (they compile Red Hat Enterprise from source and leave out the commercial stuff and the Red Hat branding). You should be able to use any Red Hat .rpm that matches the release of your Scientific Linux.

Good luck.
