router distro


I am setting up a computer to be a router

what is the best linux distro for this

I heard a lot about smooth wall

Smoothwall is a good choice. You could also use Freesco from a floppy. But in the end you could use any linux distro you feel comfortable with...

A router needs to be HIGHLY SECURE thus I suggest OpenBSD. Check http://www.openbsd.org for more details!
