Question Rhl8

Does anyone have experience with RHL8 on laptops?
Do you really need to itake down all five CDs from ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/8.0/en/iso/i386/ ?
Is there a key to activate it or is it still free of charge?

It is free, you only need at least the first 2 cd's..the rest are sources and probably non-GPL'ed proggies....

Grab the first 3 disks. you may need the 3rd disk depending on which packages you select for install. The last 2 are source code.

I put RH 8 on my Inspiron 8100 and it runs great. Just a little tweaking to get the dvd working and the touchpad.
