RH9, Slackware9.0 and Gnome 2.2.0
 

Hey there,

last days I changed my distro from Slackware 9.0 (cause i cant get my video card working) to RH9, but now im pretty familiar with Slackwares Gnome 2.2.0 look!

How can I get the second panel on the top of the screen??

You want to change the default redhat panel layout to the default gnome panel layout. To do that:

Right click on the bottom panel, choose New Panel -> Menu Panel
Add a few launchers for terminal, home etc to the top panel.
Remove the red hat button from the bottom, and the launchers on the left.
Right click the bottom panel, properties, make it size "small" (i think).
Now move the Window list along to the left hand side.

You should get the idea.....
