RH7.3 Install ALL except GUI crud?
 

Anyway to install all the software, packages, modules, additions in RH7.3... however EXCLUDE all the pathetic GUI stuff? Like DKE, Gnome, or others.

well just pick the ones you want... just choose teh option on the install, or just unistall them afterwards. might need to do an expert install tho.

crud?! wow, that's a word i've not used since i was 11!

The expert installer was sort of wack as well... I had turned off all gnome packages, and KDE packages... yet when it was installing, it installed gnome and kde anyhow.

I will just leave them, they must be some dependant of something else.

I got enough disk space to spare, and if I just never load them up, they dont use up cpu.

As for crud... well, to me, in linux a GUI is anti-swanky =)

Well after you do the expert install, it gives you a list of files dependencies that you need ti install, and tells you what packages require them. So then you can either remove the pacakges that require the dependencies, or have RedHat install the dependencies for you.
