Red Hat font size

Red Hat uses a much bigger font then e.g. Suse when working on the command line (i.e. without X-windows), so one gets very little text on the screen. Anybody who knows where the font size can be changed?

Take a look at `setfont' and the contents of /lib/kbd/consolefonts. Just be careful; you can set your console font to some pretty strange looking foreign character sets. But `setfont' ought to get you started. I've notice a few odd side effects of switching the font, though: sometimes when you switch the console font, then do a Ctrl-Alt-F7 to go back to X and then switch back to a console, I find that the font has changed to some Cyrillic font that I can't read. Issuing `setfont' by itself to go back to the default clears it up. Anyway have fun...
