problems whit the x mode
 

Hello:
I recently install debian in my machine and the x desnt start.
the error is the following:

fatal server error:
addscreen/screeninit failed for driver 0

i have a syncmaster 753df and my video card is a via technology on board.

i dont know what happens, but maybe someone could help me.

Have you tried running as root

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
