ports based Linux distribution.

Hello all...
I am looking for a distribution that has a port system, but I don't want a source based, I want precompiled binaries, is there such a distribution?

something like Debian... but a distribution more active, with more updated packages, etc...

I currently use Gentoo and I can't deny I'm happy with it, but soon I'm planning to buy a laptop, and I won't have the luxury of waiting 3 hours compiling and installing something... thus, I'm in need of a distro that has a port system, and precompiled binaries.

thanks in advance.

Debian unstable or testing are pretty updated with packages. Just download it and then set your apt targets to testing or unstable and do an apt-get dist-upgrade or w/e.
