pidentd help in Redhat 7.2

I installed pidentd-3.0.14-5.
When I try to start it says this: identd: encryption could not be initialized: No such file or directory
What is the problemm? any ideas? - it says the same thing in two redhat 7.2 machine - so there has to be some solution.

when I type identd it says nothing - like it should not, but no new processes come. Then I typed identd -d to see what is wrong and ti gives the previous error on both machines. Some library that I need to install? I am just confused as the rpm installation did now whine anything about any depencies.

hmmmmm what u can try is getting the pimpd ident to work. I think it's a lot easier. I didnt had any trouble with that one.. good installation howto on their site. it cant be easier then that one
