Question Persistent boot options in Knoppix 7.2

I installed Knoppix 7.2 DVD to a Flash Drive. I would like to change the default boot options to "knoppix64 desktop=kde" so I don't have to type it in every time. I can't really find a decent recent source for instructions (i don't see a menu.lst file anywhere).

Is anyone else kind of surprised there is not a Knoppix distribution sub-forum?

Thanks. I already found that and it does not apply to version 7.2 since those features are not available.

There is some documentation at
http://knoppix.net/wiki/Cheat_Codes#Micro-Remastering

It says both these files need to be edited for 64 bit Knoppix.
/mnt-system/boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg
/mnt-system/boot/syslinux/syslnx64.cfg

However, I have Knoppix 7.2 DVD installed on a flash drive and, in Knoppix KDE Konqueror, the files are shown as
/media/sdb1/boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg
/media/sdb1/boot/syslinux/syslnx64.cfg

To see the files I have to first mount the flash drive using the KDE device notifier.
