Password length
I have installed the RH 8 system, what is the default password length that the system allow ? and what is the longest password lenght that the system allow ? eg. can I input 128 characters as the password ? thx

Why would you want to put 128 characters as length for a password. Most distros will take a max of 32 characters and discard the rest, but I am not sure if that means thats the max Linux can handle. Unless you have good reason for using Redhat 8, you are better off with a newer distro like Fedora or Redhat Enterprise Linux, since version 9 and below of Redhat Linux are now discontinued and Redhat will no longer be providing updates for them.
