Open Suse

When I search for applications in the "Install Software" menu of Suse, I always get all of these "patches." Should I install all of the patches?

You should only choose patches that relate to the packages you already have on your system. When you highlight a patch, you can see whether it matches some version of a package installed on your system or not. I am sure there is a way to filter patches so that you just see the ones relevant to your installation, but I am not so positive about this. I will post back once I confirm it on my openSUSE box.
