Non-SysV INIT Distros

Can anybody think of any other distributions that do not use the normal System V boot scripts? I have come to hate these, and was wondering if there were any other kind of boot scripts out there.

Gentoo?
Slackware
Vector
LFS using BSD-Style hint

I already listed Slackware.

Ahhh, Crux & Arch. How could I forget those... Crux is really starting to catch my eye. It has a ports system as well as a tar.gz based package system. I might have to try it. Arch also looked interesting.
