Newbie Linux Suggestions

If you are new to linux like I am, you will love Linux Live Cds! For all your newbies, get Knoppix! Its great becuase you won't have to say bye to you current OS and it is in just one disk! Just bott the disk when you start you star your system. This way you can learn about linux. You can also google a search for other Linux Live CDs. Some of the few are SUSE Live Eval, Mandrake Move, Slax, and many more. Please try these newbs before you end up sorry. :newbie:

I installed pclinuxos before and it got everything installed and setup for you like : apollon (P2P connects to fasttrack , gnutella , openft) , java , nvidia drivers and many other programs and plugins
