I've just got my first Slack install working and it's pretty great.
I feel like i'm missing some major tweaks tho
what's the first thing that you do to your slack installs
to get them up and running.
I realize this is a general question and just depends on what
you're donig. But i'd like to know what people are donig with slack and what setups and fixes they might have encountered.
my list
-got to get sound working
-init scripts reconfigured, would like to know the "good way"
-would like to use GDM
-why is my promt "bash2.05a$ and not "scott@bigblack.topfloor~$"
hopefully this thread will be helpfull to alot of people going slack
The first thing I do is go to LQ and tell everyone about it....but I do it in the slackware forum where a question like this is likely to be seen by the most slackers
