need WOW, what Distro would be good for it?

I need World of Warcraft! but don't want to be connected to windows anymore. What Distributions would be good for what i need. As far as i understand i need WineX (right?) so what would that work best on. I am a noob have been on Suse, Mandrake, and Fadora Core, really liked Mandrake, but don't want to pay $60 again. ubuntu looks really cool, but can someone help me make a choice, and maybe some help with my WOW needs...

And some Steam (half-life 2) would not be so bad also...

Thank you all. ^^

Pretty much any distro will work for you. If you liked Mandrake, why not go with it? You don't *have* to pay anything for it. Just download the free version, and use EasyUrpmi to set up your repository sources. That's *almost* as good as buying the Powerpack edition.

I've used Cedega on Ubuntu & Debian Sarge. It was fairly easy to setup using the Cedega binary packages.

As for configuring WoW, hop on over to the Transgaming game wiki. It gives some very helpful tips and suggestion for many games including WoW.
