Need a simple Linux distro for school pc
So I've a quite bad school pc that can't handle W7. So I want to install a Linux distro but there's quite many of them. I have tried Ubuntu, Fedora, Crunchbang and Elementary OS: Luna. But none wasan't good for my school pc.
The Linux distro must be a very simple one. All I really need is: - Search the web for information / Social sites
- Using DropBox / Google Drive
- Can handle a word program

What is the specification of your school PC? If it is not a very high spec, there may be better options.
Ubuntu is usually good with older hardware. Did you try the XFCE version? I have openSUSE 12.3 or 13.1 on all my kit - 2 desktops with 12.3, one laptop with 12.3 (an olde Dell Inspiron 1300), and one with 13.1 - all using KDE 4. I also have an Acer ONE netbook running 13.1 with the XFCE desktop.

You say you've tried four Linux distros and they weren't good. Tell us why they weren't good: did they fail to install, fail to work properly, or what? And give us the specifications of your PC: how much memory has it got, what's the CPU? We should be able to help you if you give us the right information, but we can't solve a problem if we don't know what it is!

Lubuntu. Easy on resources, easy to manage. Even easier on resources would be Gentoo running plain Openbox or Fluxbox as WM ... not for beginners, though.
