Multi-Boot Live CD

Is it possible to create one CD/DVD with more than one bootable system/OS on it? Can you create partitions on a CD/DVD somehow?

Any details would be much appreciated. It seems like this should be do-able.

See this artical for details - concentration required:

In short - you prepare a multi-boot pretty much as you would a normal single boot, only you include include all distros and the bootloader info in the image. Mind you - I havn't actually done this myself. I'd consider it easier just to create more than one live CD/DVD ... but I guess there is the advantage of a quick evaluation of several (smaller) distributions.

Hmmm I don't think you could do it with CDR/DVD because I think you would have to write data at diff times on the CD, and you could only write once. Might be possible with CDRW/DVDRW but like Simon stated would not really be worth the trouble. just burn separate CD's

If you find a way... Please share...

Wow! (nuff said)

(BTW: the Russian Solaris was better than the US remake.)

Well then you could do it with a multi-session CD-R and duplicate it.

If you have ANY information, please share.

Forget the amount of trouble. I dont care how much work I have to do to create a master. Ill do it if I have the resources.
