mnt cdrom - mandrake 9.1

I can't access the cdrom on linux i keep getting the error message file or directory does not exsist, yet when i browse for the directory it is there. i have tried all sorts of thing creating a new mount, this appears to be the same for the floppy drive. yet if i try to install new software on one of the linux cd's i am successfull and linux finds the cd. but i can't browse or see the cd in nautilus.

thanks
